Dare To Dream
Dare to Dream is an observational documentary series that chronicles the journey of an unlikely social experiment in Singapore in its inaugural year. =Dreams, a non-profit organisation, builds/creates the country’s first residential premises for children of disadvantaged families living in public rental flats. This first-of-its-kind boarding campus offers all-rounded support to its successful applicants. The founders believe that changing the environment of a child’s life may help them escape the poverty trap.
Beyond the complex issues of disparity, privilege, and solutions tackling systemic poverty, the series also explores timeless universal themes of adolescence. Our characters rebel against the system, forge lifelong friendships and come of age… all in front of the camera.
