DBS' Piyush Gupta to step down in March; insider Tan Su Shan to be bank's first female CEO
DBS CEO Piyush Gupta said his successor Tan Su Shan will be heavily involved in the bank's technological development. She will take over from Mr Gupta on 28 March next year, when he steps down after nearly 15 years at the helm. Ms Tan will be the bank's first female chief executive. She said she looks forward to working with stakeholders and the bank's internal teams that she has yet to work with. From now until March, she will be Mr Gupta's understudy. Nasyrah Rohim reports.
