17:38 Min

Wanting to be a "we first" society means celebrating and strengthening ourselves to be one united Singapore - where the vulnerable are able to live dignified lives, everyone is respected, individual contributions are honoured and cherished, and where youths would continue to have a bright future. Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth and Manpower Dinesh Vasu Dash highlighted this vision and areas of focus in parliament on Monday (Sep 22). One area of focus is youths, where he pledged to listen to their concerns, work with them to fulfil their dreams and create a bustling culture of entrepreneurship. Another area of focus is seniors - to provide as many opportunities as possible, especially for those who are willing and able to work, as well as push for initiatives for seniors to live dignified lives.
