48:23 Min

The Ministry of Education (MOE) will keep track of the implementation of the recommendations against bullying through regular engagements with educators and parents, as well as focus group discussions. It will continue to watch student management outcomes and review if more needs to be done. Education Minister Desmond Lee gave this assurance in reply to parliamentary questions on MOE’s Comprehensive Action Review against Bullying on Tuesday (May 5). MOE recognises the need for greater consistency in the management of bullying across schools and has provided clearer guidelines, he said. Schools will assess and take appropriate action, and all of them will develop an anti-bullying policy by the end of this year, he added.
