Financial support boost for lower-wage workers from ComLink+ families pursuing studies
Lower-wage individuals from ComLink+ families who choose to further their studies will receive financial support under a new pilot scheme aimed at improving career prospects. Participants can get basic living expenses and a S$500 quarterly incentive for up to three years. The support covers qualifications from ITEs, polytechnics and selected vocational courses. From 2027, ComLink+ recipients aged 25 to 39 will also receive expanded access to Healthier SG, including personalised health plans and subsidies. Chloe Teo reports.
