Flight SQ321 emergency landing: 73-year-old British man who died had heart condition

One person has been confirmed dead and multiple others injured, after a Singapore Airlines plane made an emergency landing in Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi Airport. Flight SQ321 was flying from London's Heathrow Airport to Singapore when it encountered severe turbulence and was diverted to the Thai capital. Thai authorities said the deceased is a 73-year-old British national with a heart condition. After landing in Thailand, 18 passengers were hospitalised while 12 others were treated at hospitals.
