Gan Thiam Poh on Electric Vehicles Charging Bill

As electric vehicle (EV) charging is a new sector that is still developing and evolving, the number of operators is limited, said MP Gan Thiam Poh. Speaking in Parliament on Wednesday (Nov 30), he stressed the need to ensure a level playing field for suppliers and operators. He wanted to know how the Government will promote competition in areas such as HDB car parks. He also stressed the need to ensure that users and consumers can benefit from competitive pricing.
