GE2025: Progress Singapore Party - Party Political Broadcast, Apr 25 | Video
Singapore’s social and economic progress must be inclusive – that is the key belief that has shaped the Progress Singapore Party’s manifesto for GE2025, with more than 60 policy proposals addressing some of the key concerns of Singaporeans. PSP Chairman Tan Cheng Bock said this in a party political broadcast on Friday (Apr 25).
He said PSP, fielding 13 “well-qualified” candidates, will not be able to form the government; but if elected, its members will “speak up fearlessly” in parliament, as they had done in the previous term.
Dr Tan said many new PAP candidates are from the civil service or military and will be “parachuted” into parliament to engage in “groupthink”. He called for a more balanced parliament that represents the diverse views of Singaporeans and more loyal opposition to propose constructive alternative policies to take the country forward in a changing world.
