GE2025: Workers' Party chief Pritam Singh says move to redraw battle lines was necessary
Workers' Party chief Pritam Singh has described the party's move to redraw battle lines for the General Election as necessary. He said it was a difficult decision not to stand in Marine Parade-Braddell Heights GRC, citing changes in electoral boundaries and limited resources as reasons. He said the WP must focus its best efforts on fewer constituencies in order to give its candidates the best chance of success. The WP is fielding a total of 26 candidates across five Group Representation Constituencies and three Single Member Constituencies. Afifah Ariffin reports.
