Getting Real About Trust

Societal conflicts and political upheavals across the world signal a time of eroding trust in institutions. Fears of rising income inequality, declining social mobility, increasing political polarization, and rapidly intensifying climate change have created a generation of youth who feel like they might not achieve their dreams. What’s critical for the youth in navigating these issues is trust. 

This documentary, featuring opinions and insights from young Singaporeans, examines levels of trust among the country’s youth - towards other citizens, their society, and their country’s key institutions. 

How can trust be sustained? And if it erodes, how could it be repaired? How can the youth also play a part in fostering trust in their country, and also be entrusted to contribute towards a better future.
