In Parliament on Tuesday (Sep 19), NCMP Hazel Poa sought leave to table a motion to amend the Parliament (Privileges, Immunities and Powers) Act 1962. She said it aims to give Parliament the flexibility to authorise the back payment of the allowance of an MP who has been suspended from the service of Parliament. This was not approved in the House.
