Indian police say Bondi Beach terror suspect hails from Hyderabad: Reports

Australian police say the mass shooting at Sydney’s Bondi Beach on Sunday was a terrorist attack inspired by the Islamic State group. A father and son carried out the assault at a Jewish Hanukkah event, killing 15 people. Indian media report that the father, 50-year-old Sajid Akram, originally hailed from Hyderabad. He was shot dead by police in the attack. His son was also shot but he has woken up from his coma. Investigations have also revealed the whereabouts of both men before the attack.
