India's poorest state Bihar to count votes in election seen as key test of support for Modi
India's eastern state of Bihar is preparing to count votes in its two-phase election. Voters had cast their ballots on Nov 6 and 11 — in a poll widely seen as a test of national support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but also credibility of the opposition. Bihar is the poorest state in India. Voter turnout in the final phase was just under 70% — the highest in the state since 1951. Some exit polls have predicted a landslide victory for Mr Modi's National Democratic Alliance. Ishan Garg reports from Bihar.
