Indonesia politics: Constitutional Court to rule on bid to annul vice president's win
Indonesia's constitutional court is preparing to rule on a petition that could decide whether the vice president stays in office. The case filed in September challenges the educational record that Gibran Rakabuming Raka provided when he stood for elections in 2024. Plaintiffs, led by a former deputy law minister argue that Mr Gibran's education credentials, acquired overseas, should not have been accepted by election authorities. An official from the education ministry says the assessment was made based on Mr Gibran's overall education history but did acknowledge that no diploma was submitted. Chandni Vatvani reports.
