Indonesia's Pertamina eyes boosting sustainable aviation fuel output

Indonesia’s state-owned oil and gas company, Pertamina, plans to boost production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) by expanding capacity at existing refineries and possibly building new green ones. The government aims to raise the national SAF blend mandate for international flights to 5 per cent by 2035. But as Saifulbahri Ismail reports, high costs and limited feedstock could slow progress.
