Investigations into East-West Line train disruption underway, findings will be released to public
Transport Minister Chee Hong Tat said the authorities will thoroughly investigate the East-West Line train disruption and identify areas for improvement. Lasting six days, it turned out to be the longest unplanned disruption on a major train line in Singapore, affecting over two million commuters. The Land Transport Authority said investigations should complete in a few months, and findings will be released to the public. The LTA will also appoint an expert advisory panel to review the findings and advise on technical matters.
