02:38 Min

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has agreed to restart nuclear talks with the US, after weeks of a rhetorical back-and-off sparked by Tehran's deadly crackdown on large-scale protests. He said governments in the region have been concerned by the recent US military build-up in and near the Middle East. A possible Friday meeting between Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and US envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in Istanbul has been discussed, with delegations from Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Egypt also being present.
