SkillsFuture training providers must follow guidelines prohibiting undesirable marketing practices and SkillsFuture Singapore monitors this itself, along with participant or whistleblower feedback as well as audits. It publishes a list of training providers penalised for the flouting guidelines. From next month, providers will also not be allowed to engage third parties to market courses. Senior Minister of State for Education Janil Puthucheary said this in reply to MPs’ questions in parliament on Thursday (Nov 6).
