Leaders of Japan's seven political parties have held their first debate, ahead of the country's Lower House election on 8th of February. They clashed over a range of issues for more than two hours, with Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi repeating her promise to step down, if her ruling coalition fails to win a majority.
