Singapore-based budget airline Jetstar Asia will be closing its doors after two decades in business, having fallen victim to rising costs, higher airport fees and a more competitive market. Australian parent company Qantas Airways says the airline will gradually reduce its schedule before turning off the engines for good at the end of July.
