Joan Pereira on Singapore Sports Council (Amendment) Bill
New and expanded sports facilities in Singapore must be proactively designed for noise mitigation and considerate use, said MP Joan Pereira. She said this in parliament on Wednesday (Jan 14) in light of SportSG’s new mandate to establish codes of practice for facilities and equipment. Ms Pereira also suggested tapping mind sports to support active ageing objectives and foster inter-generational bonding.
