Keeping children away from harmful social media content is key focus for government

Keeping young minds away from social media sites that could contain harmful content is a key area the government is hoping to address. IMDA’s second Online Safety Assessment Report aims to help Singapore users make informed decisions about the risks and safety measures on several platforms. Digital Development and Information Minister, Josephine Teo, says the government is prepared to adjust its plans or even intervene, if the adoption of AI by businesses do not have the desired effect.
