Koh Poh Koon on tough stand against workplace discrimination

The Manpower Ministry takes a serious view of workplace discrimination, including the use of age or race as a selection criterion, said Senior Minister of State for Manpower Koh Poh Koon. Replying to an MP's question in Parliament on Tuesday (Oct 5), he said errant employers have to attend corrective workshops to rectify their hiring lapses. In more serious cases, errant employers could lose their work pass privileges.
