Low Yen Ling on proposed Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone
The proposed Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone has the potential to strengthen the excellent economic relationship between Singapore and Johor, said Minister of State for Trade and Industry Low Yen Ling. Replying to an MP’s question in Parliament on Thursday (Aug 3), she said a special task force has been set up to study the broad areas of collaboration. An update on its progress will be provided at the 10th Singapore-Malaysia Leaders’ Retreat scheduled to take place later this year, she said.
