Malaysian court rejects ex-PM Muhyiddin’s bid to review corruption charges

Former Malaysian prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin has failed in his bid to reinstate a discharge-and-acquittal order on four abuse-of-power charges. The Court of Appeal in Putrajaya dismissed his application for a review and remitted the case back to the Sessions Court, where he faces a total of seven charges, including three counts of money laundering.
