Malaysian rapper Namewee released on bail as police widen probe on Taiwanese influencer's death
Malaysian rapper Wee Meng Chee, better known as Namewee, has been released on bail, pending the completion of an autopsy report. His release marks the latest development in the murder investigation of Taiwanese influencer Iris Hsieh Yu-hsin. Her body was found in a five-star residential suite in downtown Kuala Lumpur on Oct 22. Namewee, who was present at that time in the room, has maintained his innocence and pledged to extend his full cooperation to the police. Melissa Goh reports.
