Malaysia's biennial defence trade show draws 1,300 companies from 60 countries
Malaysia is hosting a biennial defence trade show in Kuala Lumpur, with 1,300 companies from 60 countries participating. Weapons from US and Iranian companies, as well as hardware from China and Europe, are on display at the four-day Defence Services Asia and National Security exhibition. Managing geopolitical rivalries among participating countries was a challenge, but Malaysia has said it won’t interfere with the business of global defence companies in what they sell and who they sell to. Melissa Goh reports.
