Meat found in suspicious parcel sent to mosque in Serangoon: Shanmugam
Home Affairs Minister K Shanmugam said the suspicious parcel received by Al-Istiqamah mosque last night is not an isolated case, with police already investigating similar incidents at other mosques. The mosque was evacuated last night after the security scare, although the parcel was later found not to have any hazardous substances. Mr Shanmugam said the parcel appears to contain a piece of meat. He added that such acts are unacceptable and Singapore has zero tolerance for attempts to target places of worship. Alif Amsyar reports.
