Ministerial statement: S Iswaran on Jakarta-Singapore Flight Information Regions
The Agreement on the Realignment of the Boundary between the Jakarta and the Singapore Flight Information Regions will advance mutual interests, uphold safety and efficiency, bring clarity and support the growth of international civil aviation. It has laid a firm foundation for closer cooperation in aviation and other areas between Indonesia and Singapore, said Transport Minister S Iswaran as he highlighted the journey to achieve such an outcome and outlined the key elements of the agreement. Speaking in Parliament on Monday (Feb 14), he said it is a "durable" agreement, with 25 years to implement and gain experience.
