More employers planning to freeze headcount in 2026: SNEF survey

More employers in Singapore are bracing for uncertainties ahead. Close to three in five of them plan to freeze headcount next year, up from 50 per cent in 2024. Besides manpower costs, the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF) survey also found about 40 per cent of employers citing shortage of skilled local staff.
