Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim on dedicated lanes at immigration checkpoints for Singaporeans and PRs
The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) will still set aside lanes for dedicated use by Singaporeans and Permanent Residents (PRs) after it implements automated lanes by the second half of 2024 for foreign visitors. The proportion of dedicated lanes will be flexibly adjusted to meet operational needs and will take into account the traveller profile. Minister of State for Home Affairs Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim said this in reply to an MP’s question in Parliament on Monday (Feb 26).
