The annual incidence of fires in indoor and multi-storey carparks remains low. Between 2020 and 2024, the number ranged from 12 to 36 each year. The increase in incidence in 2024 - with 36 cases - was largely driven by an increase in vehicular fires. None of them involved electric vehicles.
