NDR 2021: Nurses in Singapore’s public healthcare sector will be allowed to wear tudung at work

Nurses in the public healthcare sector will be allowed to wear a tudung with their uniforms if they want to from November, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong announced on Sunday (Aug 29) during his National Day Rally speech. “We are making a careful adjustment to keep our racial and religious harmony in good order,” he said.
