New alliance to address hoarding issues in Singapore
Hoarding cases in Singapore have jumped by 42 per cent in the last four years, to about 630 today. More than half are still unresolved, involving uncooperative hoarders. To better manage these cases in homes, an alliance called the New Enforcement Action Team will provide coordinated efforts in monitoring and preventing recurrence. Roy Khoo, Treasurer and Co-Chair of Corporate Social Responsibility at The Singapore Contractors Association, and Patricia Chia, Director of Volunteer Experience at Blossom World Society, discuss the hoarding situation in Singapore and how the New Enforcement Action Team plans to help.
