Singapore has a new inter-ministerial committee to review and improve business rules for companies. The goal is to explore ways to help lower business costs, especially when it comes to transacting with the Government, like in applying for licences or embarking on new business ideas. Deputy Prime Minister Gan Kim Yong chairs the committee. It also includes Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry Low Yen Ling, as well as ministers K Shanmugam, Tan See Leng, Desmond Lee and Chee Hong Tat.
