01:55 Min

The new Punggol Marine Fire Post, which is due to be completed in 2027, will cut land response times and boost maritime operations in nearby waters. Located along the northeast coast, the facility will allow the Singapore Civil Defence Force to cover the entire East Johor Straits within 45 minutes. As the Punggol community grows, the facility will also speed up emergency response to residents by nearly a third. It will support firefighting, rescues and emergency medical calls.
