10:56 Min

Local media firms and professionals can tap a new S$48 million fund to help them keep pace with change. These include adopting new formats such as short-form TikTok content, and building AI skills. The new four-year Digital Content and Capability Development Programme aims to strengthen the media sector as content consumption continues to shift towards digital platforms. Companies will first need to earn accreditation, which assesses their content development capabilities. So far, 117 firms made the cut. This builds on the Infocomm Media Development Authority's (IMDA) S$200 million Talent Accelerator Programme launched last December. Beatrice Yap reports.
