North Korea vows to stand by Russia until 'day of victory'
Pyongyang and Moscow have reaffirmed their close geopolitical partnership, in defiance of the West's growing concerns about their militaries working together to bolster Russia's war in Ukraine. North Korean Foreign Minister Choe Son Hui met her Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov and vowed to stand alongside Moscow "until the day of victory". The US has said Pyongyang has 10,000 soldiers in Russia and up to 8,000 in the Kursk region, where Ukrainian forces are holding positions. Dasha Chernyshova reports.Â
