Nutri-Grade labelling extended to salt, sauces, seasonings from mid-2027
Prepacked salt, seasonings and instant noodles are among the items that will be graded from A to D from mid-2027, under an extension of Nutri-Grade requirements to key contributors of sodium and saturated fat. The Health Ministry is tackling the high prevalence of hypertension in Singapore, caused by excessive intake of sodium.
