Pakistan conducts second missile test as tensions with India show no signs of abating

Pakistan has conducted its second missile test in two days, as tensions continue to escalate with India over a deadly terror attack in the disputed region of Kashmir. New Delhi has accused its neighbour of involvement in the attack — a claim Islamabad has denied. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said the launch demonstrates Pakistan's preparedness on national defence. Meanwhile, Iran's foreign minister is in Islamabad to speak with Pakistan's leaders, before heading to New Delhi later this week.
