The French capital Paris has undergone a €125-million facelift to make it more inclusive as it hosts the Paralympic Games this week. The opening ceremony will take place later today, with the lighting of the cauldron set to be the centrepiece of the event. The flame that will ignite the cauldron made its way across France in a series of events before arriving in Paris. 12 torches were spread across the Île-de-France, with officials asking communities and spectators to get behind the Paralympics. Once the Games get underway, there will be 549 gold medal events. Sabrina Ng reports.
