Philippine president asserts country's sovereignty over disputed South China Sea

Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr has promised reforms in his last two years in office, in his fifth State of the Nation Address on Jul 27. On security, he promised continued peaceful assertion of maritime rights as Manila marks a decade since a landmark ruling in the Hague on the South China Sea. He also announced the recovery of about US$13 million from anomalous flood-control projects. Jhesset Enano reports from Metro Manila.
