In his second and final presidential candidate broadcast for Singapore's 2023 Presidential Election, candidate Ng Kok Song says politics in Singapore has become highly contestable, and having the "wrong team" in charge is “no longer a remote possibility”.
This is why Singapore cannot afford to have a President who may be beholden to political parties to serve their agenda, Mr Ng said, again stressing his position as a “non-partisan” candidate. His message was broadcast on Wednesday (Aug 30).
