Pritam Singh accepts Workers' Party statement on Noor Deros could have been clearer

Following Home Affairs Minister K Shanmugam's call for all political parties to reject identity politics in Singapore, Leader of the Opposition Pritam Singh accepted that the Workers' Party should have been clearer and more unequivocal in its response to Malaysia-based self-professed preacher Noor Deros' claims during the General Election. But the WP chief disagreed with Mr Shanmugam that his party had been slow to respond, kicking off clarifications that lasted over an hour.
