PSP presents 'highly talented, diverse' slate for Chua Chu Kang GRC
The Progress Singapore Party says its potential slate for Chua Chu Kang GRC are "highly talented and diverse candidates" from the private sector. This includes a former chief of the Singapore Manufacturing Federation, Lawrence Pek, who was inspired to join politics after meeting party chairman Dr Tan Cheng Bock and secretary-general Leong Mun Wai. Mr Pek will be joined by lawyer Wendy Low, stockbroker S Nallakaruppan and veteran safety practitioner A'bas Kasmani. All three contested other constituencies in 2020. The party also confirmed it intends to field another veteran Harish Pillay in the newly created Bukit Gombak SMC. Deborah Wong reports.
