02:44 Min

An inter-agency committee is reviewing Singapore's Community Dispute Management Framework. As part of this review, the committee is studying how to better address neighbour disputes that may be due at least in some part to the mental health condition of a resident. This includes possible powers for Community Disputes Resolution Tribunals to make mandatory treatment orders. The committee will provide details of the review in due course. Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Law Rahayu Mahzam said this in reply to an MP's question in Parliament on Tuesday (Feb 14).
