Rahayu Mahzam on support for caregivers of persons with dementia
The government recognises the challenges that caregivers face and provides a range of support to help them, including those caring for persons living with dementia, said Minister of State for Health Rahayu Mahzam. This is why it is enhancing long-term care subsidies, including for dementia care, she said in reply to an MP’s questions in parliament on Tuesday (Nov 4). She added that the government will continue to look into how it can further strengthen support for caregivers of persons living with dementia.
