He asked if changes in a Bill up for debate would lead to an overlap, and to a suspect possibly being charged with a more serious offence instead of a lesser offence with lower penalties. He also sought a review of whether the identities of people accused of sexual crimes should be made public until they have been convicted and exhausted all avenues of appeal.
