Recycling beverage containers: Beverage deposit-marked containers to be widely available by end-Aug

Beverages carrying Singapore's 10-cent SG Deposit Mark are expected to be widely available at major supermarket chains such as FairPrice and Sheng Siong by the end of August, ahead of the Oct 1 compliance deadline under the Beverage Container Return Scheme. Retailers are working with suppliers to clear old stock and transition to compliant products, while continuing to educate consumers and staff as public awareness of the new recycling and refund system grows.
