Russian President Putin will not attend peace talks with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy in Istanbul
The Kremlin has confirmed that Russia’s President Vladimir Putin will not be attending peace talks due to take place in Istanbul on Thursday (May 15). Putin had earlier proposed May 15 for negotiations between Ukraine and Russia. Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy then offered to meet for one-on-one talks, but the Russian president has now decided not to attend. Ross Cullen reports from Istanbul.
